Dianne Nelson is President and Co-Founder of the Wild Horse and Burro Sanctuary located in Shingletown, California. The Sanctuary is a non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to providing a range sanctuary for otherwise, homeless, unadoptable wild horses and burros; and to promoting quality life for wild horses and burros on their natural ranges through management.

Dianne is intimately acquainted with wild horses and their needs as well as the need of a healthy, ecologically sound environment to sustain them. She actually lived int the National Forest with her family for 3 years in wild horse habitat, in the midst of wild horses while capturing and caring for them until their adoption.
